In cooperation with our hosting provider, we make every effort to protect the databases as good as possible from outside access, data loss, misuse, or falsification.

Who is the data controller of your personal data?

CUC is responsible for the processing of your personal data. We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Why do we use your personal data and what basis for?

To provide you with more information regarding your request. The legitimacy for the treatment of your data is based on your consent.

How long will we keep your data?

We use your data as long as the business relationship with you, your company or your employment relationship with your company exists and delete it after the legal retention period, if defined.

To whom will we communicate your data?

Your personal data will be shared with companies within CUC and may be shared with our business partners and legal agents. You authorize us to transfer your personal data to the corresponding party based on legitimate interest.

Information, correction, and deletion of data

For requests concerning information, correction, or deletion, please contact the data protection officer by e-mail, stating your name, contact address and telephone number, including a copy of your identity card, or send it by post to:

We would like to point out that your right to the deletion of data may be restricted by legal storage obligations, which we must observe. In addition, courts, law enforcement agencies or other legally designated authorities can access data or request information on a legal basis.

Data protection for applicants

When recruiting, we process personal data that we require as part of the applicant selection for an employment relationship. This is contact data and all data such as curriculum vitae, certificates, qualifications, answers to questions, etc. as well as bank account data, if applicable, to reimburse travel expenses.
If a recruiter has been commissioned to send us the application documents, we will receive all the information provided in the application from the recruiter.
We will use the information you provide in the online application form exclusively for processing your application and will pass it on within CUC to the employees responsible for making decisions. Your contact and application data will be stored by us for the duration of the application process. Your application data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the end of the application process unless the application can be retained for future vacancies in consultation with the applicant and with his or her consent.

If you click on a social media plug-in, you will be redirected to the websites of the respective provider. Even if CUC can be seen on these web pages, the data protection regulations of CUC does not apply on these web pages, but the data protection regulations of the respective provider of the web page. If you have a user account with the respective provider, it is possible that the respective provider will add the information to your user account, for example, that you have switched from a website of ours to the website of the respective provider. The data protection regulations of the respective providers are to be taken from the websites of the respective providers or enquired from the respective providers.
